The project encompassed both aesthetic and functional upgrades, creating an enriched outdoor living environment tailored to the homeowner’s preferences and integrating advanced technology in the lighting system for refined control and ambiance settings.
Porch renovation involved new flooring, a screen system and the addition of a brick fireplace. We replaced the typical decking with a narrow-width mahogany color porch floor by Timbertech. The screen system was upgraded to a white panel EzeBreeze and the new fireplace completes the overall space design.
An outdoor modern-style pergola featuring stationary louvers and a cantilever design was added for a modern look. This space was enhanced by the installation of an accordion-style serving window by Windor to connect the kitchen with a new outdoor dining area.
MSI stone was used for the construction of the outdoor kitchen that includes a grill surround with a Napoleon grill, side burner, and a Blaze narrow outdoor refrigerator.
A low voltage lighting plan for the front enhances the Charleston Southern style architecture of the house.
Lighting System
FX Luminaire Luxor system was used for comprehensive design. The outdoor lighting series can be controlled individually allowing different themes for varied usage times. Zoning, dimming, and controlled lighting was added to several outdoor elements.
